Israeli Magach 7 Tank by shank117 Israeli Magach 7 Tank by shank117
israeli magach 7 tank drew this because i love the m60 tank and i love how the crazy israelis can take an old tank and slap more guns armor, and fire control systems. its hard to see that this was a regular m60 tank when we first sold it to the israelis i saw the picture when i was looking up some pictures of the m60 to draw and i saw this and thought it would be badass to draw and it was please your comments please!!! comment... do it for raptor jesus..

As you've pointed out, the Israelis are good at what they do-keepin' the classics and screwing new stuff with them!

Awesome drawing!

Israelis are always full of crazy ideas >..< Perhaps one of the best is they used and upgraded captured Soviet armours to NATO-style standard and put them into good use against their former owners and various insurgents

That looks really awesome... you did a great job. Your technique for shading the tank makes it pop off the page.

for the record you should check the new project of the russians called Armata the turret wll be remote controlled by a three men crew inside the body of the tank in a safe capsule

Americans already beat them to it, by 20 years or so. You may want to check out TTB (Tank Test Bed) and CATTB (Component Advanced Technology Test Bed) projects. Now those are two really bad-ass vehicles.

i served in an M60A3 and yes the Israeli army made a badass m60 with new turret and so on they managed to keep the M60's in service a while longer

Very cool pic. I wasn't even aware of this conversion since their showcase MBT is the Mercova, (I'm not sure about the spelling) which holds a premium on crew safety. It's also a pretty kick ass Tank.

merkeva is the way to spell it (i think(this is disheartening(a sub within a sub within a sub)))

You're right on the spelling, I've checked WIKI out of curiosity. I used to have a book with all of the modern armor in it, I lost it in moving to a new place. Thanks for the spell check.

The tank is well constracted, but the way you filled in the backgroud spoils all the picture.
If you draw a shadow, or flat surface with i.e. balpen or a finelinear draw the lines in one direction ans manner to avoid this kind of effect.
