Close Air Support E-75 by shank117 Close Air Support E-75 by shank117
this was a quick drawing i did so if my marker is off then ohh well i did this as a request and i didnt have much time for it but i hope yall like it anyway this is an e75 that was told to hold the position and the planes are me262 hg and this is supposed to take place in 1946 when the germans are taking back russia after they where pushed back to the german border... its a concept of course but please comment also this is in the snow and since this was fast i didnt mention that that is a russian soldier getting shot on top of the tank and the tank was in this position overnight and helped form a barricade so thats why the snow is so high up on it

it was drawn during a monster energy and heavy metal induced all nighter... hahaha i think the picture itself says that my biggest regret is i messed up the marker on the jets and i hate the way i drew the Russian getting blasted by two guys i should have just drawn the commander shooting him

Can you do some more stuff like this? With tanks that never saw action/were never made. That'd be so awesome!

Very awesome drawing. Also, it is an interesting concept you are presenting.
I would think a scenario in which Germany is able to last longer may have been possible under certain circumstances. But fighting back and trying to regain Russian territory would have been impossible. Already by 1945 Germany was running extremely low on fuel and ammunition. By the start of 1945 the Wehrmacht was already crippled in its long range strategic war capacity.

The way I see it, Germany at best may have had the possibility of fighting on in German territory for a while longer but only if there had been a better strategic planning, better alocation of resources, better weapons industry and much less casualties. A major factor that could have prolonged the war had not taken place was the strategic bombing campaign undertaken by the Americans and the British. That seriously hampered german industry and accelerated the end of the war by many months or even years. So if the german had had an effective anti-air defence network, I would say the war in europe could have lasted until 1946 maybe 1947. However Germany lost the war the day it went to war with the USSR. After that, Germany had no chance to fight off all the allies, their manpower and resources.

But that's just my opinion. You should really go ahead with your concept. I don't know if as a comic ('Though you got the talent to do so) but surely as a series of written texts. Doesn't matter if you have to go far off on some details. Your story, go nuts. ;)

this is just a concept as i said germany could have never fought back but im just showing if the nazis had the power to do so what their machines and fighting styles wouldve looked like

In that regards you've presented a pretty nice picture. One could wonder what else could they have developed had they had more time.

I can see this happen, although it will be kind of funny, pushing all the way into Russia and being pushed all the way back, then pushing all the way through Russia again.
I view the rest of your gallery (I fav'd one of your other work) and I must say you have the most awesome stuff!!!

I know, I'm not saying it isn't possible, in fact this could have really well been possible if Hitler just shut up about the Me-262 design and almost everything else in the war.

Will the pure tactical superiority of their weapons prevail or will the Ruskie horde overwhelm them?

Thanks for doing the request, it turned out great!

Gee, it looks so weird? Who are tank commander and loader shooting at? Their own Kameraden? And is the King Tiger stucked in the mud? If yes, then I guess the support only postpones it's fate.
